(P1607) - BHP BFX Asset Integrity and Maintenance Review
AE Project is undertaking the Olympic Dam BFX project Asset Integrity & Maintenance Strategy study as planning component of the proposed $2.75 billion Brownfields Expansion. This significant planning work scope assesses the operational life and risk categorizes all of the existing mine material handling, processing plant and associated infrastructure for life extension use under the broader BFX project scope. Multi-discipline expert inspections coupled with mine & process plant integrity and maintenance report information will inform an expert report detailing Olympic Dam infrastructure asset criticality, capacity, remaining life and recommended sustaining and life extension actions and cost estimates. The AE Projects report will be used by the asset owner as basis data in the planning and prioritisation the BFX prefeasibility options.
(P1619) - BHP OD MHS AI Structural Inspections
AE Projects completed asset integrity review of the Material Handling System (MHS) for the BHP Olympic Dam mine. Scope of engineering services included site inspection, fatigue analysis and review report focused on the Clark Crusher unloading station and Rail Track support structure.
(P1539) - BMA GCOS Asset Review
AE Projects completed an asset condition for the BMA Goonyella and Riverside coal processing facilities, including stockpile areas, processing plants and the train load-out facilities as part of the Goonyella Expansion selection phase study.
(P1528) – BMA Blackwater Upgrade of Existing Thermal Coal Plant Facility
AE Projects completed an options review for the BMA Blackwater upgrade of existing thermal coal plant project prefeasibility study. AE Projects reviewed the current throughput capacity and operating parameters of the thermal coal plant and developed a low capital cost option to increase capacity. Options study also investigated the enabling of a second product to be produced.
