Multicom Solar and Battery Study

AEP Elical conducted a solar and battery study for a hybrid power plant owned by Multicom Resources. The plant and infrastructure loadings for various scenarios were analysed. This analysis was used to assess the optimal solar and battery ratings. Additionally, the potential solar energy and battery output was estimated by analysing the site layout. Tie-ins to the substation were assessed to understand the preferred solutions for switchgear, control, protection and metering as well as auxiliary systems.
