BMA Plant Functional Safety Assessment

BHP Mitsubish Alliance (BMA) chose AEP Elical to conduct a Functional Safety and Machine Safety assessment for their new sewage treatment plant at Peak Downs Mine. AEP Elical has previously worked closely with BMA on other projects such as the Modernisation of BMA Control Systems project. AEP conducted brief assessments against the BMA site-specific functional safety management plan, as well as the site-wide tolerable risk report. The project also involved HAZID/HAZOP risk assessments, and LOPA/risk graph SIL assignment.
